My honrd friend Sr William Blackett Baronet att his house in Newcastle these
Year not given, but Blackett had died by 28 June 1680, the year of Collingwood’s other letter. It is tentatively assigned to 1676, since the vast majority of other letters in this collection are from that year

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
