Mr John Fenwick - Roberts’s Place Newcas the 27th Janry 1773 York Sir I received your Letter of the 25th instant inclosing your Receipt for Forty seven pounds ten shillings for a year’s interest due 22nd instant on the £1000 remaining unpaid of Sir Walter Blacketts & Mr Peareths joint Bond to you; & inclosed I send you Bell & Cos Bill on Glyn and Co for the same Sum payable at 30 days from this day - & I desire you will advise the receiving it, that Accidents may be prevented I am obliged to you for the good opinion you Express of me in the in the offer you made of your Son: but I have no room for him in my office. Nor does the Nature of my business suit with taking a young Man in the Way you propose I am etc HR
