To Mr Will[ia]m Alvey Darwin Newcas[tle] 7 Sept 1764 Grey’s Inn London Sir Inclosed you receive Bell Cookson & Cos bill on Vere Glyn & Co for One hundred and sixty seven pounds fifteen shillings; for which I desire you will send me by the return of the post, a receipt as usual, on Acco[un]t of the quarterly Payments made and to be made by you for Sir W[alte]r Blackett between the 30th June & 30th inst. Yesterday I rec[iev]ed the forty pounds for Jane Hunt’s annuity; according to her receipt which came in your Letter of the 21st ultim; and inclosed you receive Bell, Cookson & Cos bill on Vere Glyn & Co for Thirty five pounds one shilling & ten pence which I desire you will place to my acco[un]t & advise the Receipt of and then our acco[un]t will be even.
