               Durham



Sr

	The several Leases of the Mines & Lands in Weardale which have lately been renewed by the Lord Bishop of Durham will be in my Possession on Wednesday the 19th instant.  I shall be glad to know what day next Week after that Time may be Convenient for you to meet Sir Thomas Blacketts Agents on the Premises; Mr G Brooks having informed me that you are named by his Lords[hi]p in the Power of Attorney to give Livery & Seizin.

	As this Business should not be delayed I hope you will Name an early day to meet at Newhouse in Weardale.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
