Messrs Henry & Saml T Freeman Newcastle 24th May 1782 Merchants London Gentn I have the favour of your Letter of the 20th instant and observe that you & Mr Preston accept the offer made you by Sir Thomas Blackett for 5000 ps Lead on the Terms mentioned. I have no Objection to Mr C Blackett having the Commission of which he is made acquainted but I cannot deliver any part of the Lead till we have such a Quantity down that Mr Hall may not meet with any Interruption in Shipping the Lead he purchased. I have wrote to Mr Preston by this Post to the same Purpose & offer him & you Gentn 100 Casks Litharge at £17.10s.0d p Ton. If agreeable to you please to advise Mr C Blackett of the same. I am etc JEB
