By the London Waggon will be sent on Monday the 24 Inst a piece very fine Silver containing Fifteen Hundred & Fifty Ounces which I desire you will place to Acco[unt] with Colonel Beaumont at the Market Price & & advise me of the same. Please to pay the Account &, when due, into the hands of R[ichar]d C. Glyn& Co on Acco[unt] as before and you will oblige. Yours etc					J.E.B.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
