Sir

	I wrote to you on the 5th instant & then inclosed Messrs Bell & Cos Bill on Hallifax & Co for £157. 10s. 0d to pay Mr Thurloe.

	I have now inclosed you two Bills drawn by Messrs Bell & Co on Hallifax & Co - the one for £500 is to enable you to pay Sir Edward Winningtons half years Interest due from Sir Walter Blackett on the 6th of next month - in the mean time you will please to place it to my Credit & advise me of the receipt of it.

	The other Bill for £520 is to be placed to the following Accounts £300 to Sir Walter Blacketts private Account (the Receipt of which you will please to advise him of as well as me) - the remaining £220 is on Account of the quarterly & other payments you are to make for Sir Walter Blackett in London to the 31st March next for which I desire you will send me the usual Receipt to be my Voucher with him.

	Sir Walter Blackett desires me to acquaint you that he intends being in London sometime the latter End of this Month & he will be glad to hear from you any thing that relates to his affairs.  the frost still continues very intense.             I am etc    J.E,Blackett
