I Credit your Acc[oun]t £367-9-4 the amount of five Bills received this day and tomorrow shall [send] you Per Waggon a piece of fine Silver containing 1161 oz for which I trust you will allow the best price. Test Bottoms are cheap now @ 7 per ton at which you may have a quantity forwarded if you are so disposed.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
