Dear Sir

       This Weeks London Carrier from Newcastle will bring you 781 1/2 Ounces of Bullion which when reced we will draw upon you for after deducting what we have reced of Mr Newton on your Acct which is £11.6.6. We did promise to deduct it out of the last Cake but had not then reced the money as it was only paid us upon the 30th of last Month.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
