                                                                                Rav Castle  June 17th 1737

Dear Sr

	We Take the first opertunity of Answering your favour of the 10th Inst which came to hand last post and for which you have our Sincere and hearty thanks.

	It is Some nay a great deal of Concerne to us to find you think us rather Inclinable to Correspond with the Board than you on Such affaires as particularly relate the Accots of the Derwentwater Estate and were we guilty of representing any Mistakes being Sett right after having been taken Notice of to us by you it would be using you verry ill, & indeed in Such a manner as wou’d render us inexcusable but that you will not we hope charge us with.

	Your letter of the 8 March last never came to our hands & that of the 7th of April not till the 5th of May, which required Nothing of us but a Copy of Mr Watsons Arrears which we Sent to Mr Corbett on rect of Mr Willocks letter with Some other things he wrote for, & Mr Willocks was Answered in every particular

	The reason whey we Sent those papers to Mr Corbett was that we were ordered at our first Appointment to Correspond with the Secretary on all affairs relating the Hospital, but for the future you may depend upon punctuall Answers to every thing you require and be Assured Dr Sir that it will be the greatest pleasure to us in a friendly Manner to Correspond with you, and you may depend upon our greatest care not only to prevent mistakes but when any happen to Clear ‘em up

	We reced the original agreement with Mr Abraham Watson for the last years dues and are with kind respects to your Selfe & family

The £50 – made recd of Mr Robt Twizle & Mr Robt Weldon the 21st May last & in the Cash Sd to be in pt of an Arrear of Rent due Mayday 1737 for Hartburn Grainge Should be for an Arrear of Rent due from them for Meldon outgrounds due Marts 1736 Please to Set this Right        I am etc  Sr Yor  H Boag
