I have only to acquaint you that we have Reced. the following proposal for taking to Farm Graymare Colliery, Dilston hall & gardens & Lorbottle Tyths which you will please to lay before the board 23d.



Mr Rich. Dobson proposes to take Lorbottle Tyths on Lease for 7 years at the yearly rent of £30 – he is at present the farmer of Midford Tyth & pays well & will be a good Tennant.



William Storey proposes for the same one lease for three years at theyearly rent of £35.



Mr Thomas Stokoe proposes to take Greymare Colliery on Lease for 21 Years at the yearly Rent of £32.10 & the allowance of 80 Fo[the]rs of Coales annually for Dilston hall. he is verry able & will be a good Tennant



Mr Abraham Bunting proposes to take Dilston Hall & Gardens on Lease for 21 years at the yearly Rent of £10.



The present farmer of Greymare Colliery will I apprehend make us offer to farm that Colliery, And a Gentleman in Newcastle intends to View Dilston hall in order to take it, so that it may be proper for the Directors to wait a little till they hear further from, Sir,
