Reddishe’s Hotel April 23d. 93 – Dear Sir, I had the Favor of your letter this Morning, and am very happy to find the Banks are likely to go on with their proper respect due to them, and shall be very happy that Messrs. Surtees can supply us in the usual way with their Bills, as it would be attended with very serious consequences our pays being postponed. I saw a letter this Morning from Mr. Burdon mentioning the 4 Bills amounting to 10,000£. Sir J. Trevelyan will pay the three thousand Pounds tomorrow – I was very sorry to find by one of your letters that you had been indisposed, but hope you have got quite recovered again – Mr. Stead did me the favour of a call, but I was unfortunately out. I am Dear Sir Your most obd. hble Servant Tho. Rd. Beaumont
