Finlay Hodgson & Co London Nov 16 1833 I am favoured with your letter of the 13th inst covering the sale of a piece of fine Silver and the payment of the net proceeds after deducting £19.10.6 in Account of Mr<K… Trout> Esq to Mr Beaumonts credit with Glynn & Co. I have received instructions from Cox Payser & Co to weigh off the 2000 P[iece]s Lead which they wish to remain on the Wharf for the present but to pay for it deducting 2 1/2 per Cent Discount as we could not conveniently do, so, on account of the Wharf being under repairs, I have <computed> the weight and make the value £2020 which will be as near the am[oun]t as possible and will enable them to settle the Acc[oun]t. I have had no further application for Lead. The Duke of Cumberland stands firm at £15 for Ref[ined] Lead Stockton weight. BJ
