	I cannot offer you 500 p[iece]s of Ref[ine]d Slag Lead at £13-10/- but will let you have that quantity half Refined half Ordinary at £13-15/- & the whole Refined at £14 I have offered the whole of our remaining Stock of Slag Lead to a London House at £13.15/- without distinction of quality.

I have no doubt any offer will be accepted.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
