A Letter was agreed upon to be written to Joseph Stagg to be signed by The Governor.
This document is unsigned but appears to comprise minutes written by a Committee appointed by the Court of the London Lead Company on 16th and 23r June 1808 to investigate the allegations of abuse raised by Robert Hayton in response to his dismissal from the Company’s employment. The handwriting in the original document is difficult to decipher in places and there are several crossings out and amendments.
