Isaac Wilkinson Esq Chesterfield Sir In Compliance with your request I have sent you by the Gainbrough Packet Capt[ain] I Hanock 100 P[iece]s Slag Lead as by Bill of Parcels annexed. Our Terms of Credit is 6 Months, but if you wish to Remit by Bill on London at a Month you’ll please to deduct 3 Per cent Disc[ount]. I believe you have been misinformed as to a Sale of Lead here at £42. I don’t know of more than £40 having been given, and even at that price we have no buyers of any considerable quantity except the house of <EH & Co> the Stocks here not being near so large at present as I have frequently known them at this Season of the Year. I shall be inclined to stand out for the last price for some time to come. I am Sir CB 100 p[iece]s Slag Lead q 137-2-7 @ 38 1/2 fodder 252- 3–11 Wherry Hire of do from Blaydon 12- 6 252–16– 5
