Sir

	Mr Blackett received your Letter this Morning intimating that you could not on accot of Business meet Sir Thomas Blacketts Agents at Newhouse on Wednesday the 26th instant & therefore empowers me to fix Monday the 3d of March to meet at the above Place so as to do the Business on Tuesday the 4th.     I am etc   CP



NB  The above Business was done on the 4th of March in the Presence of Mr John Bell of Hexham Mr Westgarth Forster of Allanheads Mr Thomas Emerson in Weardale Mr Cuth Peart of Newcastle & Mr John Baynes of Durham

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
