Sir

	I received a letter from Mr Blackett on Tuesday last wherein he says the time fixed for your being here for Subsistance was the 26th Augt but as Sir Thos Blackett will be here the first Week in Augt he thinks you had better meet Sir Thos at Hexham & at the same time receive your Money there of which pray acquaint the other Stewards.  You will be acquainted of the day to meet Sir Thomas at Hexham.  I am etc   C Peart

P.S.   Please to write Mr Blackett how much Money you will want & desire the other Stewards will do the same that we may provide accordingly.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
