Mr. Wise wth. it before you leave the town, see, besure take care to Employ a man to pyle the Lead as it comes down to Newburn, & Sett on the Carriages to leed as Soon as possibly you can, for now the Country men has least to doe, there is Some Small matter unpd, either to the West or East Carriagemen, but I doe not know to wch. for leeding a Small quantity, that came last down, when you See Mr. Brumell, give my Service to him & tell him I shou’d be very glad to hear he had got a good end of his Business, acqut. Me in yor. next what Mr. Wise Says to, what Mr. Brumell told you abt. the arrear of the Annuity And lett me know the price of Lead, & wheither any great demand for it I am Yor assured Friend When you go to Fallowfield take an Exact acct. of what Lead, the undertakers has, as alsoe what Slaggs they have unwrought up, I perceive the undertaker give out they designe, to throw up the Bargaine, In case I will not give better terms, So acqt. me wheither you have heard anything of it, for I believe it is only a Coppy of their Countenances, to bring me to their terms.
