In Durham                                                                      Newcastle 19th May 1766

Sir     I wrote you on the 10th instant of the death of Sir Edward Blacketts Son, whose Life was lately inserted in the Lease of Redburn, and I now send you inclosed the certificates, that the other two Lives are in being; and I desire you will endeavour to get the Lease renewed with the Doctor; inserting the name of William Ord son of William Ord of Fenham in the County of Northumberland Esq[uir]e in the room of the Life that is dropt. I shall be glad to know that you receive this Letter in due course & am etc.            HR

These are to certify that Mr George Robson of the parish of Croft in the County of York, son of George Robson of the Heugh in the County of Northumberland is now living, witness our hands this 12th day of May 1766.
