To Mr Chris[tophe]r Johnson Attorney at Law In Durham Newcas[tle] 29th Nov[embe]r 1765 Sir Inclosed I send you a copy of the plan which as I think my Father got from some on the other side of Wolsingham disputed Ground: And also a copy of the Bounder Roll of the parishes of Stanhope & Wolsingham as riden in 1737. As to the papers that I have relating to this dispute you had copies of them sent you on the 18 Dec[embe]r 1759, with all that my Father could say about it. I should be glad to hear from you as soon as any thing is done about the renewal of Redburn Lease. I find the deeds which Mr Darwin sent you, relating to Woodcroft, will be wanted in London very soon; therefore when you have done with them Sir W[alte]r desires you will send them to me; or if you will let me know, I will wait upon you at Durham for them. I should be glad to know whether you have finished what was thought necessary to be done to compleat the title of the copyhold part of Woodcroft Estate, or how much remains to be done. I am etc HR
