To Mr Collingwood Forster Newcas[tle] 5th May 1764 Attorney at Law in Alnwick Sir In Octo[be]r last I mentioned to you that Mr Dockwray had filed his Bill against, several of the Tenants of Sir W[alte]r Blackett & some other Gentlemen in the parish of Stamfordham for the hay tithe of their Estates & you said you would examine whether <L.N’s> Lands records said any thing about the Tithes of this parish. Sir Walters answer must be sent away in a months time; but he could wish first to hear something from you, before he submits especially as his Lordship has so considerable an Estate in this parish.
