To Mr Hill at Manfield Newcas[tle] 20th March 1764 near Darlington Sir Sir Walter Blackett is sorry to give you so much trouble; but the hams & <Cheeks> which you send are so much better than any he meets with here that I will be obliged to you if you will send half a doz[e]n of each sort directed to him in Newcastle as soon as you can conveniently meet with them. And I will desire Mr Darwin to pay you for them, unless you can < ……..> me in any Way of reimbursing you sooner. I am etc H R
