To Mrs Hudson at Besingby near Burlington Yorkshire Newca[stle] 5th Decemr 1768 Mad[a]m I received the favour of your Letter acquainting me that you had sent a Yawl for Sir Wr Blackett. It came hither on Saturday, & I hope to get it conveyed safe to Wallington in a few days. Please to acquaint Mr Hudson that the Sacks which the Malt came in are returned, directed to him, in a Ship called the Endeavour, Thos Chapman Mas[te]r bound to Scarborough. My Wife begs leave to present her Compliments, & to express with me our hopes that you Mr Hudson & your young Ladies are well. I am etc HR
