To Mr Isaac Hunter Jun[io]r at Newcas[tle] 10th August 1765 Dukesfield Sir You will see by this days newspaper that there is a meeting to be held at Stanhope the 15th inst[an]t about the Division of Bollihope Comon; which I desire you will attend and let me know what passes and what is resolved on and get me a copy of the Bill for the intended Division if you can, as soon as it is settled. We are all clear that it is not Sir W[alte]r Blacketts int[e]rest to divide upon the plan that was proposed last year but you know he waved that consideration as he was told the majority were for it; which Mr Westgarth assured him of so that if they still continue of the same mind Sir Walter will acquiesce provided there is nothing amiss in the frame of the Bill. Pray do not neglect to speak again to Mr Hopper; who I could wish would make an amicable end of a matter wherein it is clear that he is wrong; otherwise it will be put into Mr Widdrington’s hand to recover possession by Law. I am etc H R P.S. You must remember to give in in writ[in]g to the Bulbeck Com[o]n in Nov[embe]r next S[i]r W[alte]rs claim to a share of that Comon.
