To  Mr Isaac Hunter at Dukesfield                                         Newcas.   22nd    Octor 1771



Sir      I have wrote to Mr Reynoldson to make up a Tickett of the Dukesfield & Allanheads Lead received at Blaydon in time for a pay to be made to the East hand Carriers on the Monday after Marti[ma]s day or the 18th Nov[embe]r;  but have no Objection to make it on the 14th of that Month as you say the Carriers desire if Mr Reynoldson can get ready.  As to the Hedges to be made for Sir Walter’s Allotment of comon for Colpitts farm, I wish, when you see Mr Ralph Foster at Hexham, you would get him to look at the place & fix the best Way of doing it & let him settle the prices with the Undertakers.

      PS.  pray how far is the Smithyhaugh from the Comon allotted to it?  I wish you could get a plan of the Situation of them for Mr Silvertop alledges it is too far off the Comon to have ever enjoy’d any right thereon.                   I am etc    HR
