Harrison and for the Loss I believe it is to the old people and the more so as I have heard something to the disadvantage of the Elder Brother tho I do not at present recollect what it is but I much doubt his skill and steadiness - however, till Sir Walter orders otherwise you may try him keeping a very close look after him. But between you and me I wish Sir Walter would do something for the Old Man and let us have an able Clerk at that Mill as so much Business is to be done there. It will therefore be very right for you to be thinking who will be a proper Man for that Station and let me know when you have found one you can recommend on your own knowledge or the general good opinion others have of his Qualification.
