To Mr Isaac Hunter at Dukesfield Newca[stle] 7 Novr 1769

Sir

Sir Walter Blackett has ordered Woodcroft to be advertised to be sold. You will see the Advertisement in the next Saturdays papers, I expect, & that any person desirous of viewing the same may apply to you or to Joseph Angus the Tenant at Woodcroft; so you will take Care to give him directions in time; to show the farm and all belonging to it to any that may want to see it. Mr Westgarth & Mr Ward are again in Motion for a division of Bollihope Common and Sir Walter has signed a deed to which they had got a great Number of Names, tho we do not yet know whether they amount to a Majority in value of those that have a right on that Common. I should be glad, when you go over, to be informed of any Thing you learn of the plan they are going upon & when the Bill is settled if you can get a Copy of it for Sir Walter, in Case he should not sell the Estate.

Pray what has been done about the Wood which Mr Westgarth gave you intimation had been stolen from Stage where the Carriers had laid it down.

As all delivery from the Mills has been over for some time I could wish to have an Acco[un]t of the No of pieces sent from each Mill. I am etc HR
