To Mr Isaac Hunter at Dukesfield Newcas[tle] 8 April 1766 Sir I have received by the Hexham carrier the piece of silver mentioned in your Letter; which weighs no more than five hundred and twenty four ounces and a half. As to the Delivery of Lead from the Mills; I think it will answer little purpose to set on the Rookhope carriage before Mayday and also that the present high price of corn and hay will not allow of a reduction in the price of that carriage this year. But this I leave to your judgement; for circumstances may alter before Mayday. With regard to the delivery from Dukesfield Mill, you may begin that when you will; only take care to deliver the refined Lead first, for it will be wanted & you may be fetching Lead from Rookhope to Dukesfield as soon as you will.
