	I received the Favour of your Letter of the 12th. instant about the Gun that was to come from Edenbrough for Sir Thos. Gascoigne Bt. directed to me.  It did not come until last Night and I have directed it to Sir Thos. Gascoigne Bt. at Parlington to be left at the George Inn Aberford, as you desired.  I have forwarded it to day by the London Carrier, Thos. Jennings, who will deliver it at Aberford, wch. the proprietor of the Fly Coach wod. not undertake to do, but at Wetherby.                                          I am etc           HR



P.S.  The Carrier expects to be at Aberford about this day Se’enight
