Sir   I am glad you are at last offered the old Rent for Allandale Tithes: and as from what you say about them, that Rent appears to be as much as can be expected for them, I think Sir W[alte]r Blackett will have no objection at all to your  letting them to Will[ia]m Lee for nine Years with Liberty to quit at the end of the third and Sixth Year. If you have any doubt about  Lees Sufficiency, he should certainly give Security either by an able pasture or by a Bond for two or three Years Rent, if you think that Sufficient; for you can judge better of it than I can do.

I should be glad to know whether Mollersteads Estate, which lyes near Whitley Chapel is all Freehold, for formerly a third part of it was Copyhold, as I see by some old Records. You have heard no doubt that Sir Walter is about purchasing this Estate and intends to settle it upon the Chapel. I have not yet seen the title deeds, but the Owner says it is a Freehold, however I shall be glad to hear from you about it as soon as you can. I am he               HR
