In Hexham                                                                           Newcastle 4 March 1766

Sir          Sir Walter now writes me that Mr Tulip hath written him a Letter desiring Mr Stokoe’s daughter may get the duty of St John Lee supplied till Mayday and have the profits till that time; which he has agreed to- and which I thought right to acquaint you of after what I have written you in my two last letters- only Sir Walter still excepts against Mr Cook’s officiating and says he had much rather no duty at all done there.
