Sir       I received your Letter of yesterday’s date in which you mention that you had signed and sent me the Receipts which I inclosed you in my last, but as I have not received them  I suppose you must have forgot them.

You must be sensible that the paying only part of Sir Walter Blackett’s Bond is done  to accommodate you, & besides that, Sir Walter tells me he did not know that you had by the Assignm[en]t thereof involved the Affair in so much Difficulty, as he has found since he came to Newcastle. However, if you will send me those Receipts by the Return of the Post, and advise me of your Draught to Mr Hull, to become due after the 12th May ; I shall as soon as that Day is over, send you a Bill on London at as short a Date as I can get it: & that, in case you advise me by the return of the post of your receiving it, will be immediately negociable; And there will then be an End of this Affair which has occasioned no small trouble both to you, & etc  HR
