To Mr. John Grey. Attorney at Law Newcas. 12th. Septr 1772 In Berwick upon Tweed. Sir Mr. Lawson Armstrong has named Mr. Thos. Marshall of East Ord for his Arbitrator & has waived his Objection to Mr. Lambert - he desires these two Gentlemen may name an Umpire before they begin Business and that the Bonds may be ingrossed so I shall be obliged to you to let me know what time Mr Lambert thinks will be Sufficient to make their Award in ( taking time Enough) and whether there is any objection to Mr. Marshall as Referree in the Case - & then I shall get the Bonds ingrossed here according to the form you sent me.
