Sir

I have not had an opportunity of returning the Bags in w[hi]ch you sent the Malt last year for S[i]r Wr Blackett till now, that I have put them on board the Hannah John Wright, Ma[ste]r according to the inclosed receipt: who says he knows you will take care to deliver them at Bridlington, freight free. Sir Wr has been here for a fortnight & is gone again for London: he had a cold upon him when he came but was a good deal better before his return    I am etc     HR

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
