Sir      I advise you will kill two Bucks on Tuesday or Wednesday next - & that you will send William Hepple with half a one to the Bishop of Chester at Stanhope & let Lady Loraine have a Haunch & send the rest of them, with the Shoulders, hither by the Cart on Friday Se’night.  Sir Lanct. Allgood & Mr Carr of Etal will each send for half a Buck to your house on Saturday the 8th of next month; so you will kill the Buck in proper time for them.  Sir Lanct. intends to use his half on the 10th - the Shoulders of this Buck you may send either to Mr Beardmore or to Mr Ellison & Mrs Brown of Kirkharle, only let me know to whom you send them.

     When you think the Weather is cool enough to send a haunch to London you will kill another Buck & pack up the haunch properly & send it and the rest of the Buck, all but the Shoulders hither; wch shoulders you will send to Mr Beardmore or to Mr Ellison & Mrs Brown as we talked of doing. The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
