Sir     I could not send the haunch, you sent in last Night, to London as you proposed, for it was engaged; so as I said in my Letter of the 22nd instant you will let me have one for that purpose as soon as the weather is wet enough & pray let Mr Duffield know when you send it that he may send some Pine Apples at the same time if he has any ripe.  P.S. Pray how should the haunch be packed up to go to London.  I suppose a Box would be too close.             I am etc    HR

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
