Sir Mr Newton has finished the plan of St. Nich[ola]s’ steeple which you desired me to get done; and I have paid him four Guineas for the same : which seems to be a high charge tho[ugh] he declares it ought to have been five Guineas considering the time and expense he has been at in doing it with accuracy. You will please to let me know which will be the best Way of conveying it to you.

I am sorry we hear nothing yet from Mr Chesters about the Title of Mollersteads : for Mr Thirlwel begins now to charge us with delay. I am etc          H R
