To Mr Ra Forster at Wallington Newca[stle] 28 June 1768 Sir Mr Bell writes me that he will be ready to go to Berwick with you on Monday the 11th of next month; so I shall write Mr Douglass that you will be at Tweedmouth on Tuesday Evening. I think it will be necessary for Mr Geo Brown to go with you that you may get the Turnpike road viewed & certified for, that Mr Bell may be able to settle that matter with Mr Douglass. I don’t doubt but you have given directions as I mentioned to you from Sir Wrs Letter to have a Kiley & Sheep killed and other provision ready for a dinner for Sr Wr & some Company at Wallington on Wednesday the 6th of next month & beds to be prepared for them.
