To Richard Wilson Esqr Leeds Yorkshire Newca[stle] 17th Augst 1768 Sir Mr Darwin writes that the draught of the Conveyance Deed of East Kenton is right all but an exception that sho[ul]d be inserted in Sir Wr Blacketts Covenant against incumbrances, of the Outrent of 16s & the fee farm rent of 4s a Year & Leases and Articles for Leases for Terms of Years not exceeding 21 Years. And he thinks it will be proper that Sir Walter should have a Counterpart of the deed on Acco[un]t of your Covenant to pay off the Mortgages. There is a Years Out rent of 16s unpaid Sr Arthur Hazlerig due Candle[ma]s last: pray will Sir Wrs paying ¾ of it due 1st Novr last be proportioning it near enough? And as to the Fee farm rent of 4s a Year, it was paid by Sir Wr to Mich[aelma]s last. I am etc HR
