Letter – Henry Richmond to Richard Wilson – 28 Aug 1767

To Richard Wilson Esq Leeds Yorkshire                                           Newca[stle] 28th Augst 1767

Sir

Sir Walter Blackett is now at Wallington but I sent him your Letter and he will be glad to see you here any time between Fryday Evening the 4th and Sunday Noon the 6th of next month; after that He and I are obliged to be at Hexham for some days. You will please to favor me with a Line by the return of the post, that I may acquaint Sir Walter whether you propose to be here against that time; as he will come on purpose to meet you, if he comes then.

Mr King has paid me his rent to day; so inclosed are two parts of my Acco[un]t of your half Year’s rents of West Kenton due Martin[ma]s last; and also Bell Cookson & Cos bill on Glyn & Hallifax for Two hundred & Eighty two pounds Eight shillings & four pence for the balance of it. You will please to advise me of your receipt of this bill by the return of the post, and return a part of the Acco[un]t signed by you, & mention the receiving Mrs Headlam’s receipt, which is also here inclosed. I shall be glad to see you in Newcastle & am etc    HR
