To Mr Robert Sorsbie in Love Lane East Cheap London Newca[stle] 12th Decem 1768 Sir I received your Letter of the 15th Ult[im]o & am sorry for Mrs Eden’s death – there was a Year’s Allowance of Twenty one pounds due to her at Mich[aelma]s last, which her representative may have by calling for upon Mr Wm Alvey Darwin Greys Inn. Mr Sorsbie may also have a Year’s Allowance of Twenty one pounds that will be due to her on the 24th instant by calling upon Mr Darwin for it any time after the Ninth of next Month. You will please to understand that the former Sum cannot be paid by him till that day; as he will not be in Cash for the bill I have sent him sooner. I desire my Compliments to Mrs Sorsbie & am etc HR
