Honrd. Sir       I hope you are well after your journey.  I told Mr Blackett about Mr Graham and he will propose retaining him along with Mr Ord; who he says acquitted himself very well on a former occasion.   It is said the Newcastle petitions were sent to London, by Express, on Friday last.  Dr Lambert says he has your leave to put a horse into <Mews> & therefore desires a Key of the Gate.  please to let me know if I must get one made for him.  You allowed me to mention what Newspapers I would have, if you please The St. James’s Chronicle may be directed to you, at your office in Newcastle.   The inclosed is the only letter that has come since you left this place,

I have been distributing, today, your annual charity of Beef and Bread; to above 700 poor people.  I wish you, earnestly, many happy Years.  I am etc       HR

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
