I hear Mr Lowes is disappointed! Mr Graham the Curate of Hexham died on Sunday last: the Curacy I believe is worth better than £50 a year. A Fire happened at Dukesfield on Sunday last, during the time of service at Whitley Chapel; which burnt down four of the Out houses and as the wind was high the other buildings were saved with great difficulty, and only by the help of the people from the Chapel. These are the particulars I have received of this Accident. Mr Peareth has got the Order for the payments. I wish you a good Journey. I am etc HR
