To Sir W[alte]r Blackett B[arone]t at Wallington Newcas 14 Aug[u]st 1766 Hon[ou]rd Sir There will be no opportunity of sending liquor or other things from hence to Allanheads against your going thither next week; so that all necessary articles should be ordered from Hexham. Robert Scott has sent some Grapes; but he has neither pine apples nor melons. As Thomas Hepple is better and the Bishop in so good temper it may be right to try, before his Lordship goes out of the country, whether he will change Mrs Marshalls Life on reasonable terms. Mr Robson would tell you, I suppose, that he met with Mr Brown: but could not get him to fix a time to consider Mr Douglas’s last Letter: to which some answer should be sent soon.
