Hon[ou]rd Sir     The River Jury are to make their Report to morrow; upon which occasion Mr Mayor has desired Mr Collingwood to be in Town as he is afraid these Gentlemen have got wrong, notwithstanding the pains that have been taken. Mr Mayor goes for London to morrow Afternoon & will be absent about 14 Days so that if you should find it convenient he could like to have half an hour conversation with you this Afternoon. I do not know any thing in your own affairs that require troubling you at this time. As to John Kirsopp’s trial it may be as well not to take notice of it till you get Mr Yorks and Mr Wilbrahams opinions and till the search which Mr Darwin is making for the Estates sold by the Crown is over; that you may know how to proceed further in case he will not take a discharge. If you are to be Mayor at Micha[elma]s sweet meats should be ordered from London. I am etc            H R
