To S[i]r Wr Blackett Bt at Wallington Newca[stle] 19 July 1768 Hon[ou][r]ed Sir Inclosed is the Order for the payments to Miss Robertses and the draught of another, as Mr Bell said it was to be. I intended to have asked Mr Cookson which of them are concerned in Fallowfield; but he has not been upon ’Change for some days. I hear nothing yet of Sr Alexr Macdonald. I find there is a dispute about a few Yards of boundary between Lord Darlington and You at Langtihead, a little to the Westward of where the grove is working; but Mr Maughan thinks it may easily be adjusted: in order to which he is to send down a plan of the ground, as soon as he can get it done – he says the grove is in a flourishing State, and has yielded already as much Ore as will reimburse the expence of the Level: but that there is nothing else, in his part of Weardale, that is good for aught. P.S. I have a Letter this post from Mr Wilson of Leeds & find he expects now to get forward with the Conveyances & to make up matters with Mr Freeman. He desires his Compliments to you, & says he thinks it will not be necessary for you to write to Mr Freeman. I am etc HR
