To Sir Wr Blackett Baro[ne]t at Wallington Newca[stle] 25th June 1769 Hon[ou]r[e]d Sir Inclosed are two proposals, which Mr Bell has received, for a Lease for five Years of the corn and hay tithe of Hexham Common one for £95 a year, with Allowance for Taxes; and the other for £91 a year neat: which he thinks, as the Taxes will be above £4 a Year, is the better proposal. If he has published Sufficiently the letting these Tithes for five years, and this is all it has produced, I should suppost it adviseable to let them again only for a Year after Mr Forster & Mr Ladler have valued them.
