Inclosed is my bill on Plumb & Browne for Sixty two pounds ten Shillings payable to you or order Twenty days after this date which I desire you will, for the present, place to my Acco[un]t and advise the receipt of. It is to enable you to pay Mr Walter Trevelyan his qua[rte]rs rent chrge due 24th instt which he writes me he will draw upon you for & that he may do so properly I have sent him the form of a bill & the Letter of Advice.

Sir Walter desires you will let me know whether you intend coming to Newcastle this Vacation.

I have asked Mr Greenwell thrice for Roger Crosby’s Money but he makes a Demur about the Land tax: tho’ I believe he will pay it at last. P.S. You may endorse Mr Trevelyan’s bill to me in these words – Rec[eiv]ed the Contents of the within bill of Sr Wr Blackett by Hen Richmond for a qua[rte]rs rent charge I paid Mr Trevelyan & due 24th instt & then on your sending it me I will give you Credit for it.
