Sir     I have your letter inclosing a copy of the Solicitor General’s opinion on the Wallington Tithe Case.  & shall take the first opportunity of laying all the opinions before Mr. Fawcett.    As to the £1200, I agree with you that Bank post bills at 7days Sight, will be the best way of conveying it to me.

    I am sorry for the Death of the new Chancellor and wonder who you will get to succeed him.    I am etc                  HR

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
